I have a 60x20cm trough outside my window, and I was thinking it might be fun to grow some fruit or veg rather than flowers this year. Can anyone suggest some fruit or veg that I can plant in this little space and how much/many? Thanks!

I have a hole in my kitchen that goes up to a chimeny... I think its for a Kitchen fan but its on the side not the back . So are there kitchens fan/range hoods that vent out to the side? I want to install one but I dont know anything about them or what to do.

And does anybody know a good brand for range hood and a typical price range for a quality one?

Take the following link, http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_02251483000P?keyword=422514830001&sLevel=0 it is a range hood shell but with missing components like ducting, blower kit required, halogen light bulbs, etc. Would this be considered a range hood even though all those parts are missing?
